Qurgen announced that a late-stage of ocular melanoma patient from the ongoing Qurgen clinical trial showed no detection of the melanoma driver BAP1 gene mutations in the blood and biopsy tissue samples before (> 70.0% mutation) and after a 9-month SON-DP treatment (mutation not detectable). The SON-DP treatment leads to cancer driver gene mutation-free in the converted tissues. Similar phenomenon has also observed for other driver gene mutations such as KRAS and p53 of different cancer types including colorectal cancer patients.

Dr. Chai Yan officially Joined Qurgen/Fuent (The Qurgen’s China subsidiary) as Senior Vice President of Business Development of Qurgen and the CEO of Suzhou Fuent Pharmaceutics. Also, he serves the Board Secretary to Accelerate the Company’s Strategic Advancement.

Dec. 2025

Qurgen completed the annual physical examination of five Cynomolgus monkeys (three males and two females) that had received 12 repeated high-dose of SON-DP within a 28-day period eight years ago. No evidence of teratoma formation or tumor development has been observed from these animals in this long-term toxicity study of SON-DP in primates.

June-July 2025

Qurgen had successfully manufactured two lots of GMP-manufactured SON-DP anti-cancer drugs that met FDA/CDE protein drug quality standard. Both lots of SON-DP will be used in the US and China Phase I clinical trials.
