  • Qurgen Completes Another Two Batches of GMP-Scale SON-DP Drug Production to Fully Support Phase I Antitumor Clinical Trials in China and the US
  • In June 2025, Qurgen, a globally innovative biotech enterprise, announced that the company successfully completed the production of another two batches of GMP-scale SON-DP antitumor transcription factor protein drug between May and June this year. The products will be simultaneously used for Phase I clinical trials in the United States and China.
  • SON-DP is a first-in-class transcription factor protein drug independently developed by Qurgen. It targets the “undruggable” tumor targets and is applicable to the treatment of a variety of advanced solid tumors. The drug has obtained IND approvals from the US FDA and China CDE and launched Phase I clinical trials. Available data has demonstrated a favorable safety profile, with preliminary signals of antitumor efficacy observed.
  • The production was strictly implemented in accordance with international GMP guidelines and complies with quality supervision standards of both China and the United States. It further validates the company’s robust large-scale production technology and quality control capabilities in the field of transcription factor protein drugs. Leveraging its synchronized dual clinical layout in China and the US, Qurgen will continue to accelerate the clinical R&D progress of SON-DP, advancing the early accessibility of this innovative therapy for advanced tumor patients at home and abroad.
