A patient with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) enrolled in Qurgen’s US Phase 1 clinical trial achieved a complete response (CR) after received SON-DP treatment for three months. As of March 2026, a 14-month follow-up demonstrated that the patient remained tumor-free status.

The China CDE officially approved the IND application of SON-DP Phase I study, submitted by Fuent Pharmaceutcal Co., Ltd. (Qurgen’s China subsidiary), with the CDE acceptance number: CXSL2400508.

Qurgen had successfully manufactured two lots of GMP-manufactured SON-DP anti-cancer drugs that met FDA/CDE protein drug quality standard. Both lots of SON-DP will be used in the US and China Phase I clinical trials.

A 3,000-square-meter clinical drug manufactural facility of Suzhou Fuent Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Qurgen’s China subsidiary) was officially inaugurated. Constructed in accordance with GMP standards, the facility will be employed for the manufacturing of investigational SON-DP transcription factor anti-cancer drug for Phase I, Phase II and Phase III clinical trials conducted by Qurgen and Fuent.
