In 2019, GLP pharmacokinetic (PK) and toxicology studies of SON-DP in rats and dogs were successfully completed by Charles River Laboratories, a US preclinical CRO company. The studies have demonstrated that SON-DP was well tolerated by both dogs and rats with no major treatment related adverse effects and toxicity observed in the major organs including heart, lung, liver and kidney.
